A little colour.
A little wonder.

Bella’s Fortune

I designed and built a custom website for Bella’s Fortune, Jeannie’s handmade gift and resin business in Canberra. It brings together a custom-made clock shop connected to Square, a moving resin welcome made just for her, and a home for her markets and tarot readings.

01 / THE BRIEF

From the market stall.
To anywhere.

Jeannie has been making as Bella’s Fortune since 2016: colourful resin and timber clocks in team colours, little gifts, coastal pieces and thoughtful tarot readings. Most people meet her at the markets around Canberra.

She needed a website that felt as colourful and personal as her stall, and a way for people to order a clock in their team’s colours without waiting for the next market day.

02 / THE FIRST IMPRESSION

Resin you can almost
watch being poured.

Resin is all about colour and movement, so I made a custom hero image in Jeannie’s purples, teals and gold, then added a video so the resin gently flows behind the welcome.

Phones get a lighter version of the video, there’s a pause button, and the image simply stays still for anyone who prefers less motion or is saving data. Visitors see the movement of her craft before they read a word.

03 / HOW I BUILT IT

A custom shop.
Square behind the counter.

  1. 01

A shop made for her clocks.

Rather than a standard store template, I built a custom shop around how Jeannie actually sells. Customers find their team from all 17 NRL clubs and more rugby league designs, choose a small or large clock, and add it to their basket.

  2. 02

    Square for payments.

The shop is linked to Square, so checkout and payments run through the same trusted system small businesses already use, with postage or local pickup to suit the customer.

  3. 03

    Real work, front and centre.

Photos of her past creations show the colour and the finish, with a clear note that every pour is unique. People can see what they’re ordering, made by hand in Canberra.

  4. 04

Markets, tarot and a simple hello.

A market calendar shows where to find her stall, a calm section introduces her tarot readings, and an enquiry form prepares an email for custom pieces, readings or group bookings. Her Instagram and Facebook sit close by.

04 / THE RESULT

Her colours, online.
Her clocks, anywhere.

A website that feels like Bella’s Fortune: bright, handmade and a little unexpected. Jeannie has a custom-made shop linked to Square for her team clocks, a moving resin welcome that shows off her craft, and one place for people to find her markets, book a reading or ask about something made just for them.
