OO.STUDIO / ABOUT
One person.
Full attention.
A small, independent studio. Useful digital things.
And a real person here to look after you.
Hello, I’m James.
I’m the person behind oo.studio, here in Canberra on Ngunnawal Country. That’s me with Luna and Stormi.
When you work with me, you’re talking to the person designing your website, writing the code and looking after it. From the first idea to the little changes later, I’m your point of contact.
I like making useful things with a bit of personality: a website that feels like your business, a shop that makes selling easier, or a chatbot that gives your customers a helpful answer. My aim is simple: less everyday hassle, more time for what you do best.

WHAT OO.STUDIO IS ABOUT
Good work starts
with listening.
The idea is simple: thoughtful websites and useful digital tools, without making everything feel complicated.
My customer-service background shapes how I work. I get to know what you do, explain the options in plain language, and stay involved after your website goes live.
I’ll confirm the scope and cost with you before I start. You’ll know who to call when something needs changing.

Meet SayGday.
I made it, too.
I designed and built SayGday.ai to help small businesses answer everyday customer questions in their own voice. The business owner approves the answers before customers see them.
It’s also the chatbot you’ll find right here on oo.studio. Open the chat button at the bottom-right of this page to see it in action—the same product I can set up for your business.
A useful example of what I make, working on my own website.

A little curious.
Always creating.
My client work is for Farmers Daughter and Santa’s Secret. Alongside that, I build internal products, games and family projects through oo.studio. That same curiosity goes into finding a good solution for your business.
