OO.STUDIO / CLIENT PROJECT

A neighbourhood welcome,
brought online.

Farmers Daughter

A fresh start for a neighbourhood café. I designed and built a clean, functional HTML website inspired by Farmers Daughter’s yellow chairs and walls, secured a memorable web address, and connected the essentials: menu, visiting information, Google Business Profile and helpful website chat.

01 / THE BRIEF

A clean start.
A familiar welcome.

Farmers Daughter needed a fresh online presence that represented the café accurately and made the basics easy to find. The owner wanted a nice, clean, functional website that felt welcoming to everyone.

I started with the place itself. The sunny yellow chairs and yellow walls gave me a clear design cue, alongside the café’s photography, warm timber and neighbourhood character.

02 / THE EXPERIENCE

Find the café.
Plan the visit.

I organised the site around the things customers come for: the menu, opening hours, directions and a sense of the café. Clear navigation and layouts for phones and desktops keep those details close at hand.

A properly set up Google Business Profile links customers to the website. I also secured farmersdaughter.app: a short, memorable address that gives the café a clear home online.

03 / HOW I BUILT IT

The café’s character.
The customer’s needs.

  1. 01

Build the design around the business.

I created a custom HTML website, with yellow accents drawn from the café, real photography and warm typography. The pages work together as one consistent experience, from the first impression to the menu and gallery.

  2. 02

Make everyday information easy to use.

The menu is built into the website with category controls, readable prices and dietary labels. Hours, phone links and directions help customers move from browsing to visiting, with the Google Business Profile pointing to the same online home.

  3. 03

Give customers another way to ask.

I installed website chat with questions and answers set up and approved by the owner. Customers can ask about the café in their own words and get information the business has signed off, with the team available when a question needs a personal response.

04 / THE RESULT

A proper online home.
Built around the café.

The café now has a connected online presence: a memorable domain, a Google Business Profile that leads to the website, and useful pages that reflect the place customers know. Website chat adds practical help using the owner’s approved answers.
