No surprises.

1. About these terms

These terms are between oo.studio (ABN 37 702 004 608), run by James in Canberra (“I”, “me”), and the business that signs up for a plan or asks me to do work (“you”).

They apply to the Pro website plan and to any extra work I quote for you. By signing up for a plan, you agree to them. If a written quote I give you says something different from these terms, the quote applies.

2. The plan

Pro (A$60 a month) includes a custom website designed and built for you with no upfront cost, hosting and security, fixes, an online shop connected to Square if you sell online, your own SayGday.ai chatbot, a live website report in Owner login, and as many small changes as you need, done within 24 hours (Mon–Fri).

A$60 a month covers most small business websites. Larger sites, such as ones with lots of pages or custom features like bookings, are quoted before we start, so you know the cost upfront.

Small changes and bigger jobs

A small change is something like updating text, prices, photos or opening hours, adding a product, or fixing something that’s broken.

Bigger jobs, like new pages, new features or booking systems, aren’t part of the plan. I’ll quote them separately, and I won’t start until you’ve agreed to the cost.

Change requests

You can request changes through the Owner login link on your website or by email. I review every change before it’s published, and nothing on your website changes by itself.

3. Fees and payments

• The plan fee is in Australian dollars and is paid monthly in advance, automatically by direct debit or card, through a secure payment provider. Your plan is billed from the day you sign up.
• oo.studio is not registered for GST, so there is no GST to add.
• Domain costs, payment processing fees for online shops and any extras you approve are separate.
• If a payment fails, I’ll let you know so you can update your payment details. If it isn’t sorted out, I may pause your plan until it is.
• If the plan price changes, I’ll tell you by email at least 30 days before your first payment at the new price. You can cancel before then if you’d rather not continue.

If you think you’ve been charged in error, email hello@oo.studio and I’ll look into it and correct any mistake.

4. Who owns what

Your website comes with your plan. I build and host it for as long as you’re with me, and you can leave whenever you like.

• Yours: your domain name, your words, photos and logo, and your customer data.
• oo.studio’s: the website design and the code behind it.

While your plan is active, you can use your website for your business. If you leave, you take your domain, content and customer data with you, and the design and code stay with oo.studio.

You give me permission to use the content you supply so I can build, run and update your website. I may show your website in my portfolio, unless you ask me not to.

5. Your part

• Only send me content you have the right to use, such as photos you took or have permission to publish.
• Keep your business details on the website accurate, such as prices, opening hours and contact details, and let me know when they change.
• You’re responsible for your business and what you sell, including your own shop policies and product descriptions.
• Keep the codes emailed to you for Owner login private.
• Don’t use your website for anything unlawful. If it is, I may take it offline.

6. Other services

Your website relies on other providers, such as web hosting, your domain registrar, Square for online shops and payment providers. Their own terms apply to how you use them. I can’t control outages on their side, but I’ll work with you to get things running again as soon as possible.

7. Cancelling

Pro is month to month with no lock-in. You can cancel at any time by emailing hello@oo.studio or calling me. Your service runs through the period you’ve already paid for, and you won’t be charged again.

When your plan ends, hosting and your SayGday chatbot finish. I’ll help you take your domain, words, photos, logo and customer data with you.

I may end a plan by giving you at least 30 days’ notice by email. If I do, I’ll help you move your domain and content. I may end a plan sooner if payments remain unpaid or the website is being used for something unlawful.

8. Your consumer rights

My services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that can’t be excluded. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

Where the law allows, if something I supply isn’t right, I’ll fix it or supply the service again, or refund what you paid for the affected period. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, I’m not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits.

9. Privacy

I handle personal information as set out in my privacy policy.

10. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page with its date. If I make a change that affects you in a meaningful way, I’ll email you at least 30 days before it applies.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory, Australia.
